Please tell us more about the business and when you started it (or would like to start it):

I have recently taken over a business in which I create and produce a line of baby/toddler clothes. Previously I owned and operated a small restaurant for the past 11 years. Being an entrepreneur at heart, I decided I really needed to do something that I loved and something that helped. Well, I love babies and kids. So, here I am with Zoe and Sprout. The "helping" part is coming into play by focusing on going "green". I am heading in the direction of only offering 100% certified organic apparel at affordable prices. By years end, I will more than likely only have organic items in stock. Being creative and thinking of new designs is so much fun. It allows me to use my creative side while still controlling all aspects of the business. Zoe and Sprout is a growing business and I am working to take it to the next level. In a few weeks we are headed to Vegas for the ABC KIDS EXPO. I am jumping in and going for it. I plan on learning a lot and making some great connections. Most importantly....Zoe and Sprout WILL make you laugh, smile and sometimes even blush. This is my goal! It is a great reward to put a smile on someones face.

How would you define yourself as a hybrid mom?:

I am the a wife, a mother of 3 and a business owner. I understand the you must have a sense of balance in your life to function at all. I love being my own boss, though it can be challenging and not rewarding at times. I always continue to fight through what ever obstacles are put in front of me. But in the end it all comes back to my family. Having my family is the most important thing to me.

Share one personal or business ambition:

My business aspiration is to gross $100,000 in sales in a year(from now).

What is your favorite thing about being a mom?:

Being able to get sugars(kisses) from my kids whenever I want and hearing them giggle about it!

What one belief, factor or trait would you say has contributed most to your success (either personally or professionally)?:

Personally- I am a survivor and will always keep fighting. Though I am not as aggressive as I would like to be at times, I am persistent!
