Please tell us more about the business and when you started it.

Due to increasing concerns regarding toxins found in baby products, parents are now more conscious about finding safer alternatives for their children. I also share the same vision and believe that safer materials should be used, not only in baby bottles, but also in other baby products. Founded in Summer 2008, my company, Coddle Inc., focuses on developing the best baby products in the industry. All of our products are Bisphenol-A, PVC, Lead, and Phthalates free. We are also an eco-friendly company which only uses packaging that are recyclable and toxin free.

How do you define Hybrid?

Hybrid is unstoppable, and it's about today’s women finding balance between career, herself, husband, and kids.

Tell us how your ‘What’s Next’ moment occurred and what did it mean to you.

My “What’s Next” moment occurred when all of a sudden I realized that women today are all about independence. Having three children on your hands does not give you any spare time to re-think what went wrong in your life, but to move ahead and be strong in every way, and to be a good role model to your children.

The closest time frame that your 'What’s Next' moment occurred was?

After my third child was born and when I hit the 30s.

If you have not acted upon your 'What’s Next' thoughts, what has been stopping you?

Financial restrictions, thoughts of raising three kids, finding balance between work, being a capable wife, and a good mom.

What are your biggest challenges?

My biggest challenges right now are struggling between being a strong, independent woman and being married into a very traditional Chinese family. There are many "rules" and "values" which I don't agree with, and I am finding ways and the courage to break through some of these "rules".

What are your aspirations?

I aspire to be a successful, yet responsible woman.

What are your interests?

Gardening and music.

What inspires you?

My kids inspire me.

I was working in the Juvenile business for five years now. I was one of the exclusive distributors for a well-known baby product in two countries, and now I am trying to build a brand of my dream.
