“When I had my son in 2003,” remembers Amy,  “I felt a bit isolated because no one in my immediate peer circle  had children.   After maternity leave, I went back to work full time,  making it even harder to hear about community happenings.”

Amy spent the next couple of years logging in a lot of wearisome time on the internet trying to find and research things like schools, camps and sport classes.   Her friends soon joined the mom game and began to ask her for recommendations on all of the same questions she had faced.

“When I realized that my knowledge and information could not only help people that I knew, but also people that I didn't know, and save them from the frustrations I had experienced,” says Amy “it was the inspiration I needed to launch LIParentSource.com.
