BEWARE…….THIS IS SCARY
BY JENNIFER RAWLINGS
In honor of Halloween I have compiled a list of ten things that I find absolutely terrifying. They are in no particular order….just scary thoughts
- The amount of candy my kids will consume on Halloween is very scary, but even more horrifying is the dental bill that will surely follow.
- I think living a life without dreams and goals would be a nightmare
- My American Express Bill
- It’s scary that we live in a world where it is so easy to blame others for problems, and yet we find it hard to say “I’m sorry.”
- Washing my teenagers clothes is frightening, because I never know what I am going to find in the pockets
- The number of people living in poverty. Over a billion people live in extreme poverty. That is one in six. Approximately 47 million people in the United States live below the poverty line.
- The Los Angeles School district has a 50% high school drop out rate
- Nearly one-third of children that run away from home will trade sex for food, shelter, and clothing
- It scares me and amazes me when I look at my children and see how fast they are growing
- I’m afraid of being stagnant. I want to live and learn until the day I die. I love a challenge and I fear complacency.
Happy Halloween
