Tatutina, Inc. started in 1979, in the basement of the Tatutina's founders' home in Massachusetts. They then opened a small retail store that featured children's T-shirts, unique wooden products, greeting cards, original art, and anything they could hand paint with their fun designs and colors. Tatutina is now a mother-daughter company, with Barbara Ottmar, founder and artist, along with her daughters: Georgia Florena, artist/product development and Roberta O'Neill, manager of the business.
