"So, what do you do?" Most of us work just to pay the bills but there are some lucky women who have found a way to make money doing what they love and are naturally good at like Michele Lewis, a mom and professional poker player. Michele has been to the World Series of Poker three years and has four WSOP cashes including a final table in 2006. We're looking for more moms like Michele to feature in our summer issue of Hybrid Mom magazine. We want to know what your are doing and how the heck you scored your killer job/ business. We're looking for unique and offbeat occupations. Examples include animal trainer, cool projects in the entertainment field, anything food or wine related, movie critics, professional shopper, etc. We want to feature the top 25. When I became pregnant with my daughter I was faced with the challenge
of packing my overnight bag for the hospital. With four different lists
in hand I packed, and repacked everything I could think of. The single
most important item I packed was fabric my sister had sewn along with
my mom that I wore on my wrist, over my three different hospital bands
to prevent me from scratching my baby's skin when I first held her.
