I'm proud of my family, of myself for figuring out how to balance a successful home-based business while raising three terrific kids. I love waking up every morning, making my kids breakfast and doing what I love. I'm a people person and my job as owner/founder of the Welcome Committee offers a great networking platform. It's so exhilarating to connect newcomers with new businesses and physicians in the community. We're the community introduction service that helps to establish long-term relationships between newcomers and area merchants. I also Chair the Membership Development Committee for the Chamber of Commerce. In November 2007, the Charlotte Business journal ranked Welcome Committee #14 in the "Top 25 Best Places to Work" in the 16-county Charlotte region. I am so proud of that.
